Best Wholesale Flower Delivery Service: How to Choose Fresh Bulk Flowers Online

Finding the right wholesale flower delivery service can make a major difference when you are planning a wedding, special event, floral installation, restaurant program, hotel décor, or any occasion that requires large quantities of fresh flowers.

Buying flowers by the stem at a retail florist can become expensive when you need hundreds of flowers. A wholesale flower delivery service allows you to purchase fresh-cut flowers in larger quantities, often directly from a flower wholesaler or distributor, and have them delivered to your home, business, florist, venue, or event location.

Whether you are a professional florist, wedding planner, event designer, restaurant, hotel, country club, or DIY customer, buying wholesale flowers online gives you access to a wide selection of roses, hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus, greenery, foliage, and other fresh-cut flowers.

JR Roses specializes in wholesale flowers and bulk flowers delivered online, with products available in quantities designed for weddings, events, businesses, and large floral projects.

What Is a Wholesale Flower Delivery Service?

A wholesale flower delivery service allows customers to purchase fresh-cut flowers in larger quantities and have them shipped directly to their desired location.

Instead of purchasing a few individual stems from a supermarket or retail flower shop, you can order flowers by the bunch, box, or hundreds of stems.

This can be especially useful when you need enough flowers to create:

• Wedding bouquets
• Bridesmaid bouquets
• Wedding centerpieces
• Floral arches
• Ceremony arrangements
• Reception decorations
• Corporate event flowers
• Hotel lobby arrangements
• Restaurant table flowers
• Country club décor
• Banquet arrangements
• Floral installations
• Seasonal displays

A wholesale flower supplier can also make it easier to coordinate the same flowers across multiple arrangements.

Why Buy Wholesale Flowers Online?

One of the biggest advantages of ordering flowers online is convenience.

Instead of visiting several local flower shops looking for the right flower and color, you can browse a large selection online and order the quantity you need.

JR Roses offers wholesale flowers online including roses, hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus, orchids, tropical flowers, greenery, eucalyptus, and other fresh-cut flowers.

Buying in bulk can also be more economical for large events. If you need hundreds of roses for a wedding or corporate event, purchasing them in bulk can make more sense than purchasing individual retail stems.

Another advantage is flexibility. When you purchase flowers in bulk, you can create your own bouquets, centerpieces, floral installations, and decorative arrangements rather than being restricted to pre-designed retail arrangements.

What Should You Look for in a Wholesale Flower Delivery Company?

Not every flower supplier is the same. Before placing a large order, consider several important factors.

1. Flower Quality

Freshness is one of the most important considerations when purchasing flowers online.

Fresh-cut flowers are perishable, so the supplier should have appropriate sourcing, handling, packaging, and shipping procedures.

Look for information about the flowers’ expected vase life, stem length, bloom size, and recommended delivery date.

For example, JR Roses’ White Hydrangea listing provides information about stem length, bloom size, vase life, and recommended delivery timing. The product currently lists 30 stems, approximately 16-inch stems, and an average seven-day vase life.

2. Selection

A good wholesale flower supplier should offer more than one type of flower.

Your event may require focal flowers, filler flowers, specialty flowers, and greenery.

Roses are popular for weddings and formal events, while hydrangeas provide large blooms and volume. Garden roses create a luxurious appearance, while ranunculus can add texture and detail.

Greenery can then be used to complete the arrangements.

JR Roses has a dedicated Greenery and Foliage collection with products including eucalyptus, tropical foliage, aralia, banana leaves, bear grass, and other foliage products.

3. Quantity Options

The best wholesale flower supplier for a small wedding may not be the same supplier you need for a large event.

Look for products available in quantities appropriate for your project.

For example, JR Roses offers Assorted Roses in 250-stem quantities, while larger projects can consider the 1,000-stem Assorted Roses option.

The 1,000-stem assortment is packaged as 40 bunches of 25 stems, making it useful for large weddings, events, floral production, and installations.

Wholesale Roses Delivered to Your Door

Roses are one of the most versatile flowers available for weddings, events, hospitality, and everyday floral design.

They can be used for everything from a simple vase arrangement to a large wedding centerpiece.

For a colorful event, 250 Assorted Roses provide a variety of colors selected by the grower. The product contains 250 stems packaged in 10 bunches of 25 stems.

For very large projects, 1,000 Assorted Roses provide a much larger quantity for multiple arrangements throughout a venue.

Bulk roses can be used for:

• Bridal bouquets
• Bridesmaid bouquets
• Centerpieces
• Flower walls
• Floral arches
• Cake tables
• Reception tables
• Hotel displays
• Restaurant arrangements
• Corporate events

Because roses work with virtually every event style, they are often a logical starting point when planning a large floral order.

Garden Roses for Weddings and Luxury Events

If you want a more luxurious appearance, consider garden roses.

Garden roses have large, layered blooms that can create a romantic and sophisticated appearance.

Playa Blanca Garden Roses are an ivory-white variety particularly suited to weddings and formal events. JR Roses lists the product in a 100-stem quantity, with garden roses measuring approximately 12 to 18 inches and reaching a bloom size of more than four inches when fully open.

Garden roses can be used as the focal point of a bridal bouquet or incorporated into centerpieces with standard roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, and greenery.

For a more unusual color palette, Green Garden Roses offer a soft green appearance and are specifically positioned for wedding bouquets and centerpieces.

Hydrangeas: A Great Choice for Large Arrangements

Hydrangeas are particularly useful when you need flowers that create volume.

Their large flower heads can fill a vase or centerpiece without requiring a large number of individual stems.

White Hydrangeas are a classic option for weddings because white works with almost any color scheme.

For blue-and-white weddings or coastal events, Blue Hydrangeas can provide a soft blue accent. JR Roses currently offers the product in 30- and 60-stem quantities.

If your event calls for stronger colors, Hot Pink Hydrangeas provide a vibrant focal point for centerpieces and floral installations. This product is listed as a special-order item requiring advance notice.

Pastel events can also incorporate Pastel Hydrangeas, featuring shades of pink, blue, lavender, and green.

Ranunculus for Elegant Floral Arrangements

Ranunculus are another popular flower for weddings and upscale events.

Their tightly layered petals provide texture and detail, making them particularly effective in bouquets and smaller arrangements.

For classic wedding designs, White Ranunculus provide a soft ivory-white color. JR Roses lists the product at 120 stems, with approximately 12-inch stems and an average bloom size of two inches.

For dramatic wedding color schemes, Red Ranunculus can add a deep romantic color.

For purple wedding themes, Purple Ranunculus can provide a rich accent for bouquets and centerpieces.

Ranunculus can be mixed with roses and greenery or used as the primary flower in a smaller arrangement.

Don’t Forget Wholesale Greenery

Flowers are only part of a professional floral arrangement.

Greenery provides structure, movement, contrast, and volume.

Eucalyptus is particularly popular for weddings because its muted green and silvery foliage complements white, blush, peach, lavender, pink, and burgundy flowers.

The Basic Three Mix Greenery from JR Roses combines Baby Blue Eucalyptus, Variegated Pittosporum, and Lilly Grass. The box contains 50 stems of each type, providing 150 stems of mixed foliage.

Greenery can be used to stretch the visual impact of your flower order while giving bouquets and centerpieces a fuller appearance.

Other foliage can be especially useful for tropical weddings, outdoor events, hotel décor, and large-scale installations.

Wholesale Flowers for Weddings

Wedding flowers are one of the most common reasons people search for wholesale flower delivery services.

A wedding can require hundreds or even thousands of stems depending on the size of the celebration.

Flowers may be needed for:

Ceremony:
Arches, aisle arrangements, altar arrangements, chairs, welcome signs, and entryways.

Reception:
Centerpieces, sweetheart tables, head tables, cake tables, bars, buffets, and guest tables.

Wedding Party:
Bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower crowns, and flower-girl baskets.

Venue:
Entryways, staircases, fireplaces, walls, columns, and other decorative areas.

Ordering wholesale allows you to coordinate these different applications using the same flower varieties and colors.

Wholesale Flowers for Restaurants and Hotels

Wholesale flower delivery isn’t only for weddings.

Restaurants, hotels, country clubs, and corporate businesses can use fresh flowers to enhance their customer experience.

A restaurant may use small arrangements on dining tables, while a luxury hotel might require larger arrangements for the lobby, reception desk, guest areas, banquet rooms, and special events.

Greenery can also be used in planters, large vases, entry displays, and event installations.

For businesses that require flowers regularly, establishing a consistent wholesale flower supplier can simplify purchasing and help maintain a consistent appearance.

When Should You Order Wholesale Flowers?

Timing is extremely important when ordering fresh flowers online.

You don’t want your flowers arriving on the morning of a wedding if they need time to hydrate and open.

JR Roses generally recommends scheduling flowers to arrive approximately two days before your event. For Saturday, Sunday, or Monday events, the site recommends selecting Thursday delivery.

This gives the flowers time to hydrate and prepare before they are used.

Special-order products may require additional notice. For example, the hot pink hydrangea product currently recommends at least seven days’ notice.

Always check the individual product page before ordering because delivery recommendations and special-order requirements can vary by product.

How to Care for Flowers After Delivery

Once your flowers arrive, proper care is essential.

Remove the flowers from their packaging and inspect the stems. Cut the stems at an angle using a clean, sharp tool and place the flowers into clean containers containing fresh water and appropriate flower food.

Keep the flowers in a cool location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and strong drafts.

Give the flowers sufficient time to hydrate before beginning the final arrangements.

This preparation period can make a significant difference in how your flowers look on the day of the event.

Is Buying Wholesale Flowers Online Right for You?

Wholesale flower delivery can be an excellent option if you need a large quantity of fresh flowers and want more flexibility over the final floral design.

It is particularly useful for:

• DIY brides
• Wedding planners
• Event planners
• Professional florists
• Floral designers
• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Country clubs
• Corporate event planners
• Event venues
• Party planners
• Home decorators

The key is to determine your flower quantities, color palette, arrangement requirements, delivery date, and storage plan before ordering.
